In terms of fulfilling the need of lecturer competency standard, IPMAFA follows the requirement mandated under the law whereby lecturers must obtain the professional, academic, social and personal competence. Professional competence articulates that the lecturers shall have the necessary skills required and the capacity committed to bear the assigned task and responsibility. While the academic competence means that lecturers are bound to have a relevant education with the courses of teaching and already graduate by minimum a master degree. Social competence is transformative capabilities of the lecturer in disseminating pertinent insight and knowledge and accordingly can play active role in the society. Finally, the personal competence means that teachers must be able to portray himself as a figure of good example for their students.

In attaining the qualified lecturers with the four said competencies, IPMAFA implement well managed recruitment and selection systems which always based on the needs. Until now STAIMAFA has more than 60 permanent and non-permanent faculty lecturers from various universities at home and abroad with pure academic backgrounds and practitioners.
